Veterans Day 2009

0014POW-MIA-FlagFor those of us who OPPOSE THE REGIME and HATE ITS POLICIES. the trick is this: Continue to support a strong national defense regardless.

The worst moment for any kind of of people’s army came in 1973 when the draft was abolished. This was because of the mass opposition to the Vietnam War both on the outside and INSIDE the military. Hence the move towards an intentionally mercenary force.

Now, beginning with Rumsfeld, the move  is towards the private, openly mercenary contract players like Blackwater. A great many of their “hirees” aren’t American. Should the time arise, they can be counted on to be used INSIDE the USA and fire on American citizens during times of “domestic disturbances.” So much for Republicans being patriots! The rank & file GOP are–among our best–but the leaders are traitors.

If the Armed Forces were truly for defense, the draft wouldn’t be that big a deal. But imagine the massive resistance against being drafted to serve in these never ending colonial wars.

At the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis yesterday, waiting for my neuro-surgeon,–I’m a Vietnam vet– I had a good conversation with Melissa, an Iraq War veteran. She reminded me how proud I am to be a veteran. And why I’m so determined to overturn the Obama Regime and expose the fake Republican alternative.

P.S. The Fort Hood tragedy WAS domestic terrorism.
